The Chronoshift team complied with the demand, despite the fact that it's definitely not happy about it. A message posted to LoL accounts the Chronoshift website emphasizes the amount of time the developers have spent working on the project--five years--and that it refused all offers of financial aid throughout. It also denies any of Riot's copyrighted material has been ever digitally distributed, or that Chronoshift was ever supposed to compete with the League of Legends reside match.

"We are incredibly disappointed with the way Riot opted to deal with this situation," it states. "Instead of opening a conversation about the future and attention in this type of endeavor, they tried what might be regarded as an effort to take advantage of our work for free and start taking legal actions against us."The Worlds Final is going to be in the Universiade Sports Centre, a 60,000 capacity stadium that's home to the Shenzhen FC football (soccer) club, on November 6th.

"We are extremely excited to push the bounds of entertainment and sport this year using Worlds 2021 and define the subsequent 10 decades of LoL Esports," John Needham, Global Head of Esports for Riot Games mentioned in an announcement. "Shenzhen is China's most competitive and advanced city with thousands of high-tech startups and entrepreneurial pursuits, so we believed it was an ideal picture to host our Finals."

The event usually moves year-by-year among host countries in Asia, North America, and Europe, but 2021 is the second year in a row the event will be held in China. Last year's finals were a scaled-back event; initially scheduled to occur across several cities in China, it was restricted to buy LoL smurf accounts Shanghai, together with players in in a quarantine bubble.
