Firstly, try to fix the QB error code 3371 by activating the QuickBooks Tool Hub.

  1. Download the QuickBooksToolHub.exe file and follow the on-screen prompts to install the utility.
  2. Once installed, double-click on the icon and open the tool hub to select the Installation Issues tab.
  3. Find the 3371 Error Fix option on the tab and select it to run the tool and fix the error.
  4. Let the tool run, and once the tool stops running, reopen QuickBooks and see if the error code is rectified. 

Step 2 – Delete the Damaged ECML File and Re-register your QB Program
