Sarah, who runs her very own vegan catering business, and Conor, an aeronautical engineer, were married on 9 June 2018, right around the shores of Strangford Lough, County Down.

Sarah and Conor desired to keep their day intimate and private, and thus chose to possess a small celebration with those nearest them, as well as an outdoor ceremony overlooking the lough. Now, as the ceremony might have been held out within the open, Sarah and Conor brought the indoors outside by creating the most wonderful outdoor 'room' with fun and thoughtful styling.

Sarah looked incredible in the romantic, boho wedding dress, which she chose at a Dublin-based boutique The flowing crepe skirt, long tulle sleeves, and lace edging make for any dreamy look, with something of the 1970s feel, too.

"I always imagined that I'd possess a vintage dress, as I love the styles in the 40'sand '60s. So no one was more surprised than me when I went for any designer dress. It still had the feel of the bygone era but additionally a beautiful ethereal turn to it, which was unique to other things I had seen. I loved the delicately embroidered lace leaves and also the boho sleeves, which fit perfectly with this outdoor wedding. Most importantly the gown felt incredible on, it had been comfy and lightweight as I always said in the key start. Once I been with them on I didn't wish to take it off –it had been the dream dress."

"Conor and I met in Belfast 5 years ago inside my leaving party. My best friend was dating his good friend at the time. They had invited Conor in the future down towards the bar for drinks; we'd never met until that night. Our eyes locked and it had been like magic, I don't think either person had ever experienced anything enjoy it."

"I was moving to London in 2 weeks therefore we crammed in as numerous dates as you possibly can until then. We both didn't go head first right into a long-distance relationship however the distance made us stronger regardless." Here

"We sent one another letters, daily music, and surprises within the post. We experienced a lot of personal struggles in the months that followed and we were always there for one another. I finally moved home the following year and we have been together since."

In April 2017, Conor proposed to Sarah on the beach near her hometown.

Under the shade of the graceful tree along with the beautiful lough providing an amazing backdrop, Sarah and Conor exchanged vows, that they had each written.

"It was daunting in the beginning but It is important to us to become able to speak our promises in our way with sincerity. Conor always said the vows were the most crucial part for him because that's the declaration spoken before everyone we like and that's what truly binds us, not the sheet of paper."

"Initially I was likely to cater the entire wedding myself but once we got nearer to the date, I realized it likely wasn't the very best idea. It was still vital that the food is vegan and food that everybody could enjoy. So we asked our favorite restaurant Eat Street…if they'd do our buffet spread for all of us and thankfully they agreed."

"We were careful with planning the wedding that people didn't include anything that people both didn't love, we didn't attempt to people please or make extravagant purchases that didn't add anything to the day so looking back I'd say we wouldn't do anything whatsoever differently. Everything was much better than we ever might have imagined."

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"It's this type of special day but don't forget it's the folks there making it not the flamboyant silverware. Try not to be worried about making everyone happy at each part of the day, not everybody likes the same food, has the same religious beliefs, or the same taste in music, remember individuals are there to determine you around the happiest day of your lifetime."
